Key Information
The school operates on an individual basis (1 student and 1 instructor). You will learn on premium equipment with experienced teachers in a shallow lagoon. Our instructors have over 17 years of experience teaching this highly attractive, modern water sport. Waveshop and Kitesurf Split are among the oldest kitesurfing schools in Dalmatia, organizing courses during the summer season from April to October.

Course Program
The course consists of 8 hours of instruction divided over 3–4 days, depending on the candidate's progress and weather conditions.
DAY 1 – Theory & Trainer Kite (Approx. 2 hours)
Theory (Up to 1h):
- Introduction to kitesurfing equipment and setup
- Packing the gear
- Wind basics and safety systems
- Safety at sea and right-of-way rules
Trainer Kite Handling (Up to 1h):
- Launching and landing the kite
- Flying the kite from edge to edge of the wind window
- Understanding the "Power Zone"
- Complete mastery of the trainer kite
DAY 2 – Training with a Real Kite (Approx. 2 hours)
- Bodydrag basics (moving through the water without a board)
- Upwind bodydragging
- Managing safety systems and critical situations
- Standing on the board for the first time
DAYS 3 & 4 – Riding (Up to 4 hours)
- Water starts
- Combining all learned skills
- Gliding downwind
Additional Options
- Individual 1:1 Lessons: For those who want to improve existing skills or just need a quick refresher.
- Discovery Program (2h): For those unsure if they want to dive in fully. Learn the basics of the gear and take your first steps with a trainer kite.
